Dato’ Sri Jessy Lai attended a charity dinner hosted by KBTC

Dato’ Sri Jessy Lai attended a charity dinner hosted by the former Kota Bharu Teacher’s College, Maktab Perguruan Kota Bharu (KBTC) on 1 August.

The KBTC was founded in 1954, when Malaya was still a British colony. Its opening ceremony was officiated by the High Commissioner of the Federation of Malaya, Sir Donald Mac Gillivary.

Over the years, KBTC has successfully produced many excellent teachers for the education industry. To adapt to the changing demands of time, it has officially transitioned to become Pendidikan Kota Bharu (IPKB).

The charity dinner, hosted in Putrajaya, was officiated by the Prime Minister Tun Mahathir.

The purpose of the event was to source funding for retired teachers under KBTC’s Jasamu Dikenang fund. All donations go to medical expenses for retired teachers, in order to lessen their burden.

拿督斯里赖彩云于8月1日出席了一场由EX KBTC(Kota Bharu Teacher’s College,Maktab Perguruan Kota Bharu)的慈善晚宴。
